3 Tips To Starting Your Health & Fitness Journey

Creating a healthy lifestyle doesn't have to this big thing that you have to conquer. Any positive changes, no matter how small, will make a big difference over time.

Here are 3 tips that have made others health and fitness journey successful

1. Start Small
A 10-15min walk a few times a week, or start a regular stretch and mobility exercises  would be a great starting point. Planning to walk everyday or trying to jump into lots of exercise can lead to fatigue and failure. And instead of trying to overhaul your whole diet, just focus on one area. For example, starting the day with a healthy breakfast such as oats, muesli, eggs or a smoothie.
 

2. Find Movements You Enjoy
You don't have to join a big gym, walk for hours or try and start running. It's more important to find exercises that you enjoy, so that moving doesn't become a "chore".  It could be swimming, biking, or a something new that you haven't tried or thought about doing before. Whatever you choose, make it enjoyable so that your maintain your motivation to move.

3. Get Support
You don't have to go it alone. Find a walking buddy or group. Find others who are working towards the same goal as you. Support, accountability, and motivation will come from who you surround yourself with.
